As citizens of the world, we must recognize that our life on this planet is a precious gift from the Universe and that we are merely the stewards of Earth's resources and we a have responsibility to ensure that all people can equally experience the joy of life and celebrate its abundance. A foundation of abundance is the concept and practice of reciprocity. We must harness the heroic nature of business to transform economic wealth into abundance, purpose and unity to elevate humanity as a whole. More than sustaining the natural resources needed for the human species, reciprocity is a concept that says that “not only does the Earth sustain us, but that we have the capacity and the responsibility to sustain her in return.”
